Jonathan Callahan is the owner and teacher of Empire Jiu Jitsu. Jonathan started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2010. He is a black belt under Anthony Cole and currently training under world champion Kristof Szuczs at Gracie Barra in Roseville. His philosophy includes creating an environment of confidence through learning a skill through consistency.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu includes community, a foundation for self-discipline, and increased flexibility and skill through movement.
Classes are for everyone, young and old and will be held in the new Jiu Jitsu room within the Yuba-Sutter location.
We have a Kid's Class (under 130lb) and Adult Classes (130lb and above) available.
